Anette, a native of Sweden, has over twenty years experience teaching flute, recorder, and piano in group and individual settings.  She has over the years taught students ranging from 3 to 73 years old. She earned her degree in music at UC Berkeley and has,  in addition to running her own music studio, taught in various after-school programs, including The Crowden School, Starland Music School, East Bay Waldorf School, Saint Joseph’s The Worker School while  occasionally working as a choir accompanist.

Anette studied flute with Yaada Weber at the San Francisco  Conservatory and with Janet Maestre, principal flutist of the Berkeley Symphony Orchestra at U.C.Berkeley. Her first teacher in Sweden was Johan Hedelius, principal piccolo player of the Malmö Symphony Orchestra .
Anette has also performed on two CD recordings.

She has developed a curriculum tailored for students of all ages and levels. The curriculum includes method books (Piano Pronto/ Trevor Wye),  theory, sight reading, tone production, repertoire, rhythm, games, and lots of duets.  Anette also offers biannual recitals in her home studio. The atmosphere is very relaxed, supportive and casual.
