Anette Skloot has been my flute teacher for the past 16 years. Although I have a music background, I started flute with Anette as a beginner. Studying with Anette has been so rewarding and fun that lessons are a joy and practicing leaves me feeling energized and happy. Anette's teaching style is very relaxed, forgiving and encouraging. She makes her students, from senior to 4 year olds, feel capable as musicians and special as people. Her young piano students seem to love playing in recital. Anette helps them to play duets and to improvise at the piano, delighting their parents and friends.
